Job Coach (Support Adults with Intellectual Disabilities)
Davis Street Community Center is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site job coaching, training, and follow-up support to adults with disabilities placed in community employment. You will play a vital part in helping clients succeed in the workplace by fostering relationships with employers, coworkers, and support teams to create a productive, inclusive environment. Responsibilities Build strong familiarity with each consumer by reviewing case files and conducting regular, scheduled worksite visits and supervision. Assist in developing and implementing vocational training plans to support workplace adjustment and skill retention. Deliver ongoing vocational coaching to help consumers meet job expectations and maintain positive communication with supervisors and coworkers. Provide flexible support based on consumer needs, including evenings and weekends when necessary. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience working with adults with disabilities in a vocational setting preferred Reliable transportation with current driver’s license and insurance Current CPR/First Aid certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment Ability to adjust to shifting schedules and priorities
