Job Title: Line Cook
Looking for an ambitious line cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in a fast pace, fun kitchen, performing routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, preparing and cooking food according to recipes.
Duties
Comply with proper safety & sanitation regulations and practices
Set up, stock & maintain workstations
Complete opening/running/closing duties as assigned
Prepare dishes on menu using proven recipes
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor product freshness
Ensure top quality food orders in a timely manner
Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
Maintain personal appearance and hygiene
Requirements
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Able to stand for long periods of time in hot kitchen environment
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Food handler certificate
