The hotel is housed in a magnificent historic building from the 13th century, which has been extended with a beautiful contemporary wing. It overlooks a cosy courtyard and the estate's extensive wooded gardens, which lend themselves perfectly to hosting events. Restaurant Akko is listed with a 13,5/20 in the Gault & Millau and mention in numerous other culinary guides.
Restaurant Akko: gourmet restaurant in modern, intimate setting! For Sébastien Oger, Chef de Cuisine, cooking is above all a clever mix of know-how, passion and precision. The creative young chef graduated from the Ilon-Saint-Jacques hotel school in Namur, after which he gained solid experience in several starred restaurants. During his career, he has also worked under the wings of Yves Mattagne and Wout Bru.

Function The Sous-Chef acts as our chef's right hand in organising, delegating and controlling the day-to-day tasks in the kitchen. In the absence of the Chef, the Sous-Chef guarantees the quality and respect of the standards established together.
The Sous-Chef assists the Chef in these tasks including:
Mis en place: preparing for service
Management of orders
Operational participation in the kitchen during service
Ensuring quality and taste
Respecting the kitchen laws, supervising hygiene and prevention of employees
Together with the Chef, you are also responsible for events (weddings, company parties, events, etc.)
Your profile
You are hospitable and have an eye for detail
You have team spirit
You speak Dutch or another language
You have a similar (first) experience
