Position Overview TDL Staffing is looking for a seasoned Chief Land Surveyor to lead our surveying team in Fairbanks, AK. This leadership role involves directing surveying operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering precise, high-quality results on every project.

Responsibilities
Direct all land surveying activities with a focus on accuracy and adherence to state and local regulations
Manage boundary, topographic, engineering, and residential surveys from start to finish
Provide expert guidance and leadership to surveying staff, fostering professional development
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, maintaining excellence and efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related discipline
Licensed Land Surveyor in Alaska or eligible to obtain licensure
Ability to obtain post access (Real ID required)
Successful completion of a background check
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS software, and use of modern surveying tools such as Total Stations, LiDAR, and drones
