Job Description
Key job responsibilities
Support operations teams directly by being the first technical point of contact for production disturbances, unblocking production issues & finding structural solutions to prevent their recurrence Process defective material for engineering evaluation to determine path forward Modify shop orders to enable continuous production execution Develop & improve troubleshooting documentation for production test hardware Normal day
75% of time will be spent on the production floor working with technician teams to solve all types of technical blockers, from test report reviews, defect material triage, ERP blockers, etc. 25% of time will be spent performing independent development work such as performing data analysis on disturbances, improving troubleshoot documentation, etc. Required Skills
Familiarity with Low Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices & principles Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC, etc. Strong analytical skills Strong communication and writing skills Experience with Electrical System Design & Metrology Experience with Mechanical Design and Failure Analysis Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP or similar ERP software Experience with NX Unigraphics or similar CAD software Experience with Aerospace &/or Optical Manufacturing Experience with Python Programming Language Experience with Fiber Optic Systems Experience with Statistical Analysis Software such as Minitab Export Control Requirement
