The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Assist in menu planning and recipe development
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Follow and adhere to corporate specs
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
Assist in the preparation of banquets and special events
Qualifications:
Serve Safe Certified
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong culinary background
Ability to work well in a team environment
