Garber Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Lead Commercial Electrician for our Columbus, OH office. The role will oversee projects, collaborate with apprentices and other electricians, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on every job.
Day to Day Responsibilities • Work onsite, collaborating with a team to bring blueprints to life and ensure projects are completed efficiently and up to code.
• Supervise and guide a group of electricians, demonstrating expertise and fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
• Maintain a customer‑centric focus, delivering top‑notch electrical solutions and continuously improving processes.

Commitment to safety and integrity; ability to work in all weather conditions, heights, and physically demanding tasks.

Effective communication with Project Manager, Dispatch, and co‑workers.
Maintain organized tools and clean work area, including vehicle.
Cell phone availability and proper voicemail for Garber Electric communications.
Reliability in troubleshooting electrical circuitry and issues.
Must have accurate documentation of work status and comply with company policies.
Physical Requirements
Perform work in all weather conditions.
Work from heights including ladders, roofs, and elevated lifts.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, lifting heavy objects up to 75 lb.
Engage in repetitive motions with hands in hard‑to‑reach areas or overhead.
