OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTIONS

This position requires an organized, guest-driven, friendly, eager to learn, and self-motivated individual. The candidate should be adaptable, innovative, and possess a vibrant personality. The role involves contributing to the smooth operation of the In Room Dining within the Food and Beverage Division. A Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for stocking, maintaining inventory, organizing orders, and billing in guest rooms. Knowledge of room service menus and ongoing promotions in other F&B outlets is essential. Flexibility to work shifts in designated areas is required to support a multi-skilled and productive Food and Beverage team with a sense of Aloha. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Satisfaction

Ensure delivery of the brand promise with exceptional guest service at all times. Provide excellent service to internal departments as appropriate. Handle guest and internal customer complaints courteously and efficiently, ensuring resolution. Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues, fostering good relationships. Operations

Perform opening and closing duties for each shift. Prepare trolleys and trays according to orders and standards. Ensure all linen, cutlery, glasses, and dishes are clean and well-presented. Implement Rosewood standards and Food and Beverage Sequence of Service. Deliver service professionally, ensuring proper mise en place before and after service. Respond to consumer audit results and implement necessary changes. Take and repeat guest orders accurately, using proper phone etiquette. Deliver orders promptly to guest rooms. Adhere strictly to hotel policies, especially regarding guest room entry. Collect trays/trolleys promptly after use. Present bills and collect payments efficiently. Maintain stock levels of equipment and supplies. Have thorough knowledge of menu items and upselling opportunities. Finance

Follow policies regarding cashiering and cash handling. Perform cashier duties as required. Verify cash and credit card transactions for authenticity. Talent & Culture

Work collaboratively with other staff, focusing on hotel success and guest satisfaction. Support other departments in a team-oriented spirit. Other Duties

Follow safety, hygiene, and health regulations. Maintain professional appearance and grooming. Build relationships with industry partners. Adapt to industry, company, and hotel changes. Attend training and meetings as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Be punctual and reliable. Group Specific

Maintain brand integrity and act as a brand ambassador. Model company culture, vision, mission, and values. Respect Hawaiian culture and traditions. Comply with company policies. Perform other tasks within reasonable scope. QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING EXPERIENCE

6 to 12 months experience in Hotel Food and Beverage, preferably with In Room Dining. Fluent in spoken and written English. Experience in upscale restaurants or F&B operations preferred. Familiarity with Forbes standards is a plus. Knowledge of Micros System preferred. High School Diploma required. SALARY:

$12.00 per hour
