Pomeroy Living, a premier senior independent living community, is seeking a dependable and customer‑service‑oriented Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our residents by overseeing dining room setup, food presentation, and staff training.
Responsibilities
Dining Room Excellence:
Oversee dining setup, kitchen cleanliness, food presentation, and closing procedures.
Oversee the presentation of all food served from the kitchen to residents and guests, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Train and supervise servers, participate in hiring, and manage daily staffing.
Resident Satisfaction:
Take meal orders, communicate with dietary staff, and address resident dining concerns.
Meet with dietary staff daily to discuss daily specials, always‑available menu options, and wine selections.
Proactively address resident concerns and ensure their satisfaction with meal service.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of food management or food service supervision experience preferred.
Experience in a senior independent living food service setting preferred.
Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Paid Time Off – start accruing day one of orientation.
