What you're responsible for: Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment. Report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to dispatch. Report service problems, blocked containers, or any potential safety hazards. Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to dispatch. Ensure that equipment is kept in a good operating condition. Performassigned duties on roll of or end dump delivery and hauling routes. Communicate any customer request with dispatch. Collaborate with managers to drive projects enhancing productivity and performance without compromising quality and safety. Complete and submit work orders and driver logs as required. Qualifications
To join our team: Schedule times vary, looking for 1st and 2nd shift availability
Class Awith no restrictions and DOT Medical Certification required. 3 years of experience needed. Must have a clean driving record and CDL truck driving experience. Will be required to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos, to write correspondence, memos, and schedule. Basic math skills required. Problem solving, reasoning, and “thinking out of the box” will be a constant requirement; in addition, applying common sense understanding to better serve our guests’ needs. Regularly useclose, distance, color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus. Often works outdoors in both hot and cold temperatures. Occasionally works in wet areas. Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. Additional Information
