Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Foreman to join our team. The Electrical Foreman is a critical leadership role with a significant impact on the success of a project. Works closely with the Project Superintendent and crews to ensure the job gets done safely, on time and exceeds customer expectations. The selected individual will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, proposing estimates and bids for jobs, installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment, as well as supervising technicians and crews on day to day operations as well as projects. Supervisory Responsibilities
The employee is a working supervisor, performing and supervising electrical functions, including maintenance, repair, troubleshoot, installation and inspection of electrical services. Carries out administrative and technical supervisory functions assigning duties, evaluating performance, and managing a budget and workload. Develops performance requirements for subordinates and ensures a mutual understanding of the standards. Observes performance, and performs formal evaluations. Resolves complaints and grievances. Develops Performance Improvement Plans and initiates appropriate personnel actions. Initiates disciplinary measures as appropriate. Requirements
Must be able to lead on site crews performing electrical work. Must be a team player and have great attitude. Must be skilled at conflict resolution Job Type: Full-time Experience
