Albin Engineering Services, Inc. ( www.aesi.com ) is looking for two Fire Suppression Technicians, concentrating on inspecting, testing, and maintaining (ITM) Clean Agent Suppression Systems, for one of our growing premier clients in the East Bay, CA area. Job Description You will be inspecting, testing, and maintaining (ITM) Clean Agent Suppression Systems. You will be working onsite at high‑tech companies, schools, refineries, government buildings, in server rooms, clean rooms, industrial settings such as power plants, and commercial buildings to service and troubleshoot issues.
ITM of clean agent systems
Creating reports
Repairing system deficiencies
Requirements
GED degree at minimum. Preferred college or trade school degrees in Fire Protection or Electrical
2+ years of experience working with and troubleshooting Fire Suppression systems
The more experience with the electronics side of Suppression Systems the better
Must have experience in inspection, test & maintenance of: Fike, Ansul & Fenwall systems
Clean Agents such as: Halon
Fike
Kidde-Fenwal
Hochiki with agents NOVEXC 1230, FM-200, Halon, Nitrogen
Experience with various clean agents, agent verification, handling cylinders, EPO, pre‑action, by‑pass systems, creating cell communicators, AES Radios, Fire alarm troubleshooting and programming
Very good communication skills
Clean driving record (due to given a company vehicle)
Preferred Skills & Certifications
NICET II Fire Alarm Systems
NICET I Special Hazards
