Stella Maris partners with the Jesuits and staffs the Colombiere Jesuit Retirement Facility on Roland Ave. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside dedicated clinicians to meet the needs of the fathers and brothers of the Jesuit Order. Responsibilities Qualified candidates will coordinate (planning, booking, travel arrangements, etc.) local trips for the men at the Jesuit Community including, but not limited to, trips to the museum, meal outings, celebratory activities, seminars and other enriching events. They may also coordinate on‑site activities that are recommended by the men in the facility and that are educational, recreational, or enhance community ties and/or relationships amongst one another.
Essential Functions
Establish a committee whose sole purpose is to obtain feedback from the men regarding the activities, trips, etc. they would like to participate in and ensure that activities are value‑added through consensus.
Ensure a variety of activities that meet various educational, social and physical activity needs.
Create a calendar of events to display and share in the community, advertise events and trips, and implement a mechanism (interview/survey) to assess value added.
Work three days a week, including one weekend day a month, to facilitate and organize daily and weekend activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree
Valid Driver’s License
CPR Certification
Minimum 1–3 years of experience
