ECI has an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator – SQL Server, who will serve as a dedicated resource. The SQL Server DBA will implement, configure, maintain, and optimize critical SQL Server RDBMS systems to ensure availability and consistent performance for our corporate applications. This hands‑on position requires strong technical skills and excellent interpersonal communication. The successful candidate will develop and sustain the SQL Server Warehouse, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health, performance), execute data loads, and perform data modeling to support multiple development teams. The data warehouse powers an enterprise application suite of program‑management tools. The DBA must be able to work independently and collaboratively. In this role, you will help maximize the benefit of all Eze Castle system investments and support the implementation of new process‑improvement initiatives. This is an

position. What you will do
Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission‑critical production systems. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, monitor system health and performance, and ensure high levels of availability, performance, and security. Apply data‑modeling techniques to support development, implementation, integration, and performance expectations. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement. Provide 24/7 support for critical production systems. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release‑deployment activities after hours. Share domain and technical expertise, providing mentorship and cross‑training to peers and team members. Handle third‑party monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Work in global and flexible hours (occasionally). Who you are
MS SQL DBA with 5–8 years of experience in large, critical environments. Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models. Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server. Experience with Windows Server, including Active Directory. Good knowledge of configuring Agent Jobs and SSRS deployment. Proficient with SQL Server dynamic management views. Strong understanding of SQL Server architecture. Hands‑on experience with mirroring, log shipping, and Always On. Strong scripting skills and expertise in troubleshooting T‑SQL jobs. Hands‑on experience with SQL Server clustering, Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services. Availability for on‑call support as needed. Basic knowledge of other RDBMS such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Expertise in handling complex performance issues and tuning slow SQL queries. Hands‑on experience with Azure SQL databases and Azure SQL Managed Instances. Bonus points if you have
