Overview
Performs U/S or more than two modalities within the diagnostic imaging department.
Type of Opportunity: Full Time | FTE: 0.9 | Exempt: No | Work Schedule: 12 Hour Days
Location: Lincoln County Medical Center, Ruidoso, NM.
Qualifications Education & Credentials:
High School Diploma or GED (required). Associates degree preferred.
NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License required.
ARRT R.T.(R) certification required at time of hire.
Qualified Modalities (must have one of the following):
Ultrasound
MRI
Mammo
Nuclear Medicine
CT
Vascular US
Litho
Bone Density
Echo
Responsibilities
Maintain departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance documentation in accordance with JCAHO guidelines.
Perform various exam types, producing radiographs, evaluating technical quality, and preparing for interpretation.
Check equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly; report shortages and failures to assure safety and customer satisfaction.
Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and professionalism; prepare, maintain rooms, and transport patients to radiographic rooms as needed.
Participate in the Preceptor Program for new hires and students.
Apply team and organizational results-based competencies.
Enhance professional growth through educational programs, literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
Execute supervision as required by supervisor.
