Catholic Health’s St Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation has served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine is located in the heart of Long Island, Smithtown. The long‑term care facility is a 240‑bed facility. Our nurses, physicians, and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to employees, patients, residents, their families, and the community. Job Details Position: Dietary Aide (Full‑time/Part‑time, day shift, long‑term care)
Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, meal service, and ensuring dietary needs are met for residents or patients in healthcare settings. Responsibilities include preparing food, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide quality nutritional care.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED equivalency required.
Food service experience preferred.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift, bend, and turn.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push heavy food carts.
Special Requirements Must be able to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Nursing Home/Long Term Care experience preferred.
Salary Range USD $22.40 per hour. This range serves as a good‑faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include bonuses or incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job.
