Responsibilities
Manage an accounts receivable portfolio and maximize collections through effective customer relationships
Utilize collection software tools to improve receivable delinquency and lower Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing errors, payment applications, and disputes in a timely manner
Proactively contact customers to collect past due receivables
Conduct account reconciliations and track disputed items for resolution
Qualifications
BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or a related Business degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
2-5 years of relevant experience in credit and collections
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with risk analysis and receivable collection
Familiarity with credit reports and financial statement analysis
Proficiency in PC literacy and general office skills
Customer service experience in a related field
