Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation matters, providing legal advice, and developing case strategies to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in civil litigation cases in court and through alternative dispute resolution processes.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in relation to their cases.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
Prepare for and attend trials, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive legal services for clients.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and active license to practice law.
Proven experience in civil litigation, with a focus on areas such as insurance defense, personal injury, breach of contract, and employment law.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
