Credentialing Specialist – Southcoast Health

40 hrs Shift:
Day shift, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Location:
Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours
Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director, Medical Staff Services, coordinate the medical staff services provisional and reappointment credentialing and privileging process for the Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Health Network. Coordinate third‑party payer credentialing and re‑credentialing as outlined by our payer contracts. Responsible for the coordination of Medical Staff committees and meetings. Ensure data security and professional confidentiality standards are met. Perform daily functions and projects as assigned by the Director of Medical Staff Services.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist is required within 3 years of eligibility.
Minimum three years related experience required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt by signing a statement certifying the exemption after hire.
Compensation Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range:
USD $20.64 – $35.22 /hr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement:
