We provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnoses in the most functional setting there is – a person's own home and community.
We are looking for experienced Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who want to provide truly patient-centered care in the Fort Worth, TX area – with Part-Time positions that accept patients for the duration of their stay available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners create new paths forward after a neurological injury. We provide intensive, individualized services working one-on-one with our patients, and building their skills in their own homes and communities. Patients are accepted anywhere on the continuum from severe brain injury to job readiness. Our experienced teams step up to the challenge of building a program that is just right for our patients’ specific issues.
Areas Of Responsibility Include But Are Not Limited To
Evaluation, treatment, and education of neuro-rehab patients including planning, organizing, and coordination of recreation activities, functional leisure skills, and leisure education
Assess capabilities/interests/barriers
Monitor progress and recommend changes/modifications to the program as required
Perform home assessments and assist the patients with the transition to home and community
Qualifications
Completion of Bachelor's in Therapeutic Recreation and CTRS designation is required
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
