Court Clerk
The Court Clerk provides essential administrative support to ensure the efficient coordination of court-related activities for the Haverford Township Police Department. This role involves scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks that directly support law enforcement officers and court operations. Key Responsibilities
Schedule and notify police officers of criminal, traffic, and non-traffic court hearings for local courts and the Court of Common Pleas. Coordinate hearing logistics with court personnel. Arrange and track the delivery of blood samples for lab analysis. Prepare and organize case jackets and required documentation for officers' court appearances. Perform turnkey duties as needed. Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience. Proficiency with computers and office software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Prior experience in law enforcement or court systems highly preferred. Knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology. Familiarity with scheduling systems and record-keeping practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to pass background screenings including drug screening, criminal history background, and FBI fingerprint screening.
