Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for clients and supervise the team's activities, including the review and editing of all client-related materials
Develop and implement communications strategies that align with clients' objectives
Build and maintain professional relationships with key media figures, including journalists, editors, analysts, and influencers
Develop a wide range of written materials, such as press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence, and reports
Mentor and coach junior team members, ensuring project deadlines are met through effective project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Regularly analyze campaign performance using metrics and KPIs to evaluate success and adjust strategies accordingly
Participate in new business pitches, ensuring presentations are thoroughly researched, prepared, and polished
Assist in tracking and managing budgets to support the executive and leadership teams in performing their responsibilities
Monitor media regularly to understand industry topics, gain insights from media coverage, and identify potential newsjacking opportunities
Requirements
A minimum of 4+ years of PR agency experience with at least 1 year in the B2B technology industry
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Technology-related field preferable, or a related field
Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak with high-level executives internally and externally
Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a self-starter
Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others
Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
