Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
EHS Technician
to support day-to-day safety operations at a Houston facility. This position plays a key role in promoting compliance, reinforcing safe work practices, and supporting overall EHS program objectives. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities
Issue and manage safe work permits
Conduct safety onboarding for contractors
Lead and document routine housekeeping inspections
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks across the facility
Support hazardous materials tracking, storage, and handling
Assist with general EHS program activities as needed
Required Qualifications
Associate degree
or
equivalent practical experience
Minimum of
3 years
of experience in an EHS-related role or industrial/manufacturing environment
