Progressive Auto Group seeks a Full Time Parts Counter Sales Associate
for our Massillon, Ohio
dealership.
Position Purpose As an Entry Level Parts Counter Associate, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Progressive Auto Group's clean and safe parts departments. Our talented team of skilled supervisors invest in our entry level parts counter associates by teaching them how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. Examples of Duties
Assist technicians with locating and ordering needed parts
Respond to customer parts or information requests quickly
Communicate with customers when a Back Order will occur and offer alternatives
Determine availability and price information and document this information as necessary
Provide part to customer from stock, procure locally or create a parts order as directed
Monitor the status of customer orders, advising in case of problems and notifying upon arrival
Inventory control maintenance
Capable of loading and unloading of freight with forklift
Knowledge and able to ship and accept freight from motor carriers, UPS or FedEx
Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
Requirements
High School degree or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive or truck mechanics
Ability to lift at least 25-50 pounds
Professional appearance and work ethic
Great attitude with a high‑energy personality
CDK experience preferred
GM, CDJR or Dealership experience preferred
