Compensation
Hourly Pay $30.57 per hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Typical work week 40–50 hours per week

Work Schedule
5‑day work week (Tuesday‑Saturday or Thursday‑Monday; off Sunday & Monday or off Tuesday & Wednesday)
Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am or until work is completed (typically 8–12 hours per day)
Schedule flexibility may be available based on candidate needs
Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible
Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive and as‑needed maintenance of semi‑trailers
Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals
Maintain schedules and document completed preventive maintenance and repairs
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer specifications per FMCSR
Maintain parts and yard organization to ensure a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience as a trailer mechanic performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on dry‑storage trailers in a company fleet
Air‑brake certification
Familiar with FHWA and FMCSR, and BIT inspections
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Able to lift 50 pounds
Must provide own tools
