CMG Home Loans is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to support our Colorado region. This role is responsible for managing and executing all tasks required to ensure loan files are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. The Loan Processor will play a critical role in delivering seamless and timely loan experience for both clients and business partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process residential mortgage loans (Conventional, Purchase, FHA, VA, Refinance) in a manner consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements.
Obtain and review required loan documentation and submit complete loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
Manage a pipeline of loans and maintain timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process.
Communicate with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders and agents.
Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
Monitor and ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met.
Obtain and verify that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the underwriter and prepare the file for submission to the Closing Department.
Keep abreast of changes in policies and procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the company and the mortgage industry. Understand and apply local, state and federal regulations related to processing mortgage loans.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Able to handle a pipeline of 45+ loans and fund at least 30 loans per month.
Willing to jump in and do anything to get loans processed and to closing on time.
4-5 years loan processing experience. Retail processing experience preferred.
Experience processing Conventional and Government (FHA/VA) loans.
Familiarity with Byte preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment and open to overtime when needed.
High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Reports: N/A
PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
Base Compensation Information CMG pays a competitive base which ranges from $55,000 - $65,000 plus eligible for per file bonus. Factors that affect base salary may include loan processing experience, overall knowledge of mortgage industry, number of years worked in mortgage industry, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
