We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Arlington, VA office as part of our Federal Buildings & Infrastructure team. Collaborating with our expert architects and engineers, you’ll design structural systems for a variety of building types including airports, government and mission-critical facilities, data centers, and large-scale manufacturing facilities. You’ll be accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality of design deliverables, whether working independently or leading a project team. With our global reach, you’ll have access to industry experts around the world and opportunities for national and international travel.
Here’s what you’ll need
Master’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis
5+ years of relevant buildings-related structural design experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM)
Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE)
Desire to take independent initiative and ownership of work
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with Revit
Familiarity with Federal government clients, standards, and criteria (e.g., UFC)
Experience with design-build and early contractor involvement delivery methods
United States security clearance, or the ability to obtain

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
