With a short drive out of town, the area turns into a hunters paradise, with elk, bear, moose, deer and turkey available. The valley provides world class ample water sports, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and winter sports. A short 8 hour drive will bring you to the Oregon/Washington coast for a family vacation opportunity. The Spokane Valley and Coeur d’Alene are great options for shopping, resorts, amusement parks, and big city fun. There are many other jobs available for your spouse or partner, as well, such as the hospital, paper mill, restaurants, automotive, etc.
