We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

HR Generalist

to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the day‑to‑day HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, performance management, and training. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

As an

HR Generalist , you will support a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS data entry, and general administrative tasks. You will work closely with employees and leadership to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Employee Relations:

Act as a point of contact for employees and management, addressing workplace issues, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.

Recruitment:

Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.

Performance Management:

Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance‑related issues.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate or conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and development.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Provide support during annual compensation reviews and benefits enrollment.

HR Reporting:

Maintain accurate employee records and prepare regular HR reports on metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.

Health and Safety:

Collaborate with the safety team to ensure a safe working environment and support health and safety initiatives.

Culture and Engagement:

Promote and support initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

1–2 years of HR experience , preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Working knowledge of HR principles and labor laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.

Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.

Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with safety compliance or working alongside Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams.

Experience with HRIS (Paylocity) would be preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

PHR or SHRM‑CP certification (or working toward certification) preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
