Actalent is hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This person will be responsible for the following:
Job Description
Design parts, drawings, and large assemblies within SolidWorks
Perform Engineering analyses and simulations
Provide support to the production floor for design changes or process improvements
Collaborate with testing department and develop test methods
Prototype building
Utilize ERP for all data management related to products
Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
Targeting 3+ years of experience; co-ops and internships may be considered
SolidWorks CAD design experience
Knowledge of machine building, welding or fabrication methods
Experience working within metals
Work Environment
Majority of time spent in office. Will collaborate heavily with the production floor if design changes are required or during testing phases.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.50/hr.
