Senior Teller – Part‑time
OCCU is a member‑owned credit union located in Bend, OR. This role offers a starting pay of $21–$23 per hour, with potential incentive pay and an additional $2 per hour for Spanish‑speakers who pass a proficiency test. The position requires 18–24 hours per week, typically covering midday shifts.
Responsibilities
Support members with financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account requests.
Ask questions to identify member needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
Process transactions accurately and maintain detailed records.
Perform cash balancing and ensure compliance with cash handling policies.
Assist with meeting branch sales and service targets.
Respond to member queries and provide timely resolution or escalation.
Qualifications
Minimum of six months of related experience in a teller or customer‑service role.
Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of banking products and procedures, with a willingness to stay current through training.
Ability to attend and complete required training programs.
