Location and Compensation Summerville, SC Compensation: $42,390.69 – $50,378.50

Overview This position is responsible for building full relationships with mass affluent clients through proactive outreach to an assigned book of business and referrals from bank partners. Strengthens and manages existing relationships through providing financial advice, partnering with investment and insurance specialists to provide goal‑based planning advice and services. Provides guidance and fulfills loan and deposit needs, ensuring appropriate banking products and services are aligned to support the customer's financial goals. Builds strong relationships with branch and business banking teams within a defined bank area and/or specific market; also works with mortgage, FCIS and other sales partners to build and manage full financial relationships.

Responsibilities

Sales – Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned. Represent the bank in the community by attending and participating in civic and community events to generate additional business and identify potential CRA opportunities.

Service Standards – Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues. Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities, listen attentively, and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and take prompt actions to address immediate needs.

Operations and Administration – Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk. Complete required training by established deadlines. Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency. Associates in roles defined to take deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency of that function.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in financial services relationship management, retail banking, private banking, or wealth management; or 1+ years in a PRBI role at First Citizens.

High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in financial services relationship management, retail banking, private banking, or wealth management; or 1+ years in a PRBI role at First Citizens.

Preferred: 2+ years in a licensed role.

License/Certification – Must have or obtain Series 6 or 7, Series 63, and state‑specific life insurance licenses within a reasonable timeframe. Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act. Valid driver’s license required. Frequent driving to other offices and customers; bank car not provided.

Required skills – Application of a structured sales process, financial guidance and expertise, financial literacy, financial analysis, credit underwriting, knowledge of retail banking products and services, business development, financial plan conversations, knowledge of securities products and services.
