Job Overview Mobile Associates, Store‑in‑Store are integral members of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and deepen relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships by identifying customer needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality‑of‑sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities

Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.

Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding; identify customer needs and use solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions and help customers understand how to self‑serve using the T‑Mobile app.

Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products, processes, and systems. Review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to stay Customer Ready at all times. Continually learn and improve skills to provide the best possible experience.

Build trust and loyalty with every interaction; proactively reach out to potential customers, capture referrals, manage follow‑ups, and build relationships with new and existing customers. Perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail as needed.

Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing.

Education and Work Experience

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Customer‑satisfaction‑oriented, passionate about advocating for customers while balancing experience and performance goals. (Required)

Team‑building mindset: willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing best practices and resolving issues efficiently. (Required)

Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment. (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Travel Travel Required: No

Salary and Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completion, they promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. T‑Mobile employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
