Insurance/Escrow Loan Assistant – Resource Bank (Louisiana) Position Summary: This role reports to the Insurance/Escrow Loan Specialist and manages insurance tracking for collateral, escrow transaction processing, loan administration reports, and related duties.

Essential Functions

Verify insurance on collateral as needed.

Work with the lending team, clients, and insurance companies to obtain current insurance.

Collaborate with the Insurance/Escrow Loan Specialist to prepare weekly insurance reports for account officers.

Print, label, sort, and scan insurance notices and mail into the electronic system or tracking company.

Understand force‑placed insurance processes.

Support collection and payment of invoices to insurance tracking company.

Assist with escrow disbursements for taxes and insurance.

Assist with annual escrow analysis statements and short‑year statements.

Perform daily escrow reconciliations.

Review loan administration reports daily/weekly/monthly.

Perform loan and collateral maintenance as needed.

Assist with department workflow.

Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.

Learn and operate new office technologies as implemented.

Operate office equipment and use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, etc.

Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.

Answer phones, provide information, take messages, or transfer calls.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions The position is performed in a back office environment. Travel for training may be required. Overtime may be required depending on workload and must be approved by management.

Experience and Education High School Diploma (or GED) and two years of insurance/escrow experience preferred.
