As a Superintendent, you’ll be the tactical leader on site, responsible for turning plans into action and guiding projects from kickoff through final closeout. You’ll manage the day-to-day execution of work, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and inspire your team to deliver excellence. From managing subcontractors to monitoring budgets and schedules, you’ll be the on‑site decision‑maker ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with pride.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead all job-site safety efforts and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Communicate daily with subcontractors to align work, resolve issues, and maintain progress.

Monitor labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs against budgets and schedules.

Take proactive measures to control productivity, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Gather, audit, and submit timecards on schedule for each payroll cycle.

Manage customer expectations while upholding SSRG's benchmarks and culture.

Ensure quality control measures, testing requirements, and inspections are met on every project.

Plan for safe and efficient use of all equipment within project scope and timeline.

Oversee and execute project closeout processes.

Prepare and present updates to leadership, owners, subcontractors, and design teams as needed.

Foster strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients built on trust and communication.

Qualifications

12 years of experience in commercial/residential construction with 4+ years’ experience in the role of Foreman or Superintendent.

Knowledge of supervisory leadership principles and practices.

Knowledge of city, state, and federal laws, ordinances and regulations related to the construction industry.

Skilled in the effective use of various negotiation techniques.

Skill in making decisions regarding project priorities, costs, and alternatives.

Skill in performing research, analyzing findings, preparing and presenting reports to HGC leadership, project owner, subcontractor and design team as required.

Skill in operating standard office equipment including a personal computer and related software (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite).

Must be able to travel within SE Region.
