Absolute Group
Greenland Homes, a division of Absolute Group, is builder in the Des Moines area. We are looking to bring on a full‑time Superintendent. This person will prioritize and perform site duties for the home building process. This is a position where you will be able to use your hands and be physically active daily.
Duties include the following:
Perform on‑site job management for multiple jobs and ensure overall project safety
Manage projects based on schedules and budget
Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors, Greenland Homes team members, and material suppliers throughout the home building process
Resolve issues to maintain productivity and relationships
Ensure quality control and compliance with the project plans and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Establish goals and motivate others to reach those goals
Qualifications:
Successful candidate be able to demonstrate positive, confident, and respectful traits with a team‑oriented attitude
Possess general knowledge of construction and how to use power/hand tools safely
Have accurate blueprint reading skills
Possess a current/valid Driver’s License
Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Be a self‑motivator
Have 3 or more years of experience as a construction superintendent or foreman
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
Needs to be able to take instruction with minimal follow up
Excel and thrive in fast‑paced environment with tight deadline
