Nabla Wind Hub is looking to hire a Senior Structural Analyst to join the Structural Calculation team within the Engineering department, capable of leading complex studies of metallic components, bolted joints and composite structures in a highly technical environment. We are looking for a proactive person, interested in the wind energy sector and with the ability to carry out finite element studies and structural calculations. The position involves defining methodologies, reviewing technical deliverables and coordinating advanced calculation activities. The candidate must have proven experience in finite element simulations using ANSYS and/or Abaqus, as well as solid technical criteria to evaluate static and dynamic behaviours and fatigue phenomena. The Senior Structural Analyst will be based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. Main Tasks: Structural analysis of wind turbine components (finite element studies and structural calculations). Lead complex projects. Definition of methodologies. Review of technical deliverables. Coordinate advanced calculation activities. Perform simulations with ANSYS and/or Abaqus to evaluate static and dynamic behaviours and fatigue phenomena. Preferable knowledge of CAD (Inventor). Application of quality standards. Requirements: Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering or similar. Advanced level of English. Proficient user of Office 365. Proficient use of ANSYS and/or Abaqus. Knowledge of the energy sector, especially renewable energies and wind technology. Solid experience in structural analysis within the wind energy sector. Ability to lead complex studies of metallic components, bolted joints and composite structures. Valuable experience in international standards and in structural optimization of wind turbine components. Proactive and collaborative attitude, willing to work as part of a team and coordinate with different technical departments.
