Hourly range $23.54 to $24.89, commensurate with experience. This position is grant‑funded. Location:

Karin House, 1395 Aspen St NW, Washington, DC. Position Description:

The Wellness Activities Assistant supports evidence‑based health and wellness activities for clients under SOME Senior Services, manages volunteer scheduling, coordinates activities with the Senior Center Wellness Manager, and reports for funding and evaluation. Occasional weekend work for the monthly food delivery program is required. Responsibilities: Assist clients with benefits eligibility determination and enrollment. Conduct individual client meetings to complete enrollment, wellness plans, and recertification documentation. Enroll clients into program support services such as transportation and meals as needed. Maintain telephone reassurance calls and data for enrolled and discharged participants. Assist with coordination and implementation of all activities and programs, including volunteer management. Recruit, screen, and train volunteers. Submit items for purchasing food and supplies and manage the food pantry. Assist with loading and unloading the van for deliveries. Complete required reports and documentation for internal and external compliance. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma. 3–5 years of social service experience with wellness activities and event planning. Experience completing administrative tasks, including data and evaluation reports on schedule. Excellent customer service and outreach skills. Certification:

CPR/First‑Aid required. Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm or 9:00 am–5:30 pm (40 hours per week). Reports to:

Wellness Manager, Karin House. Physical Demands:

Must lift up to 20 pounds, look at a computer screen for several hours daily, and sit for long periods. How to Apply:
