Korean VRI Interpreter
As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between Korean and English speakers. The interpreter needs to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. Ensure a quiet and secure environment. Note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
Candidate Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Korean
Minimum 2-year interpretation experience preferred but not required
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain high accuracy
Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
Ability to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with permission or at the client's request
Technical Requirements:
Computer or Laptop
Windows 10 or higher
USB Wired headset
Steady wired internet connection
