Dining Room Manager
Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, a premier senior living services non‑profit organization, invites applications for the Dining Room Manager position at The Village of Westland. The role focuses on ensuring a pleasant dining experience for senior residents and their guests.

Responsibilities
Perform host duties, including seating residents and managing guest interactions.
Assist in serving and cleaning up food service for residents, visitors, and staff.
Collect resident food orders and deliver food directly.
Prepare and serve beverages.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils.
Store food in designated containers to prevent spoilage.
Handle cash transactions when working in the Bistro.
Carry supplies to storage and work areas.
Remove trash, scrape leftovers into garbage containers.
Sweep and mop kitchen and dining floor.
Ensure Dining Services Assistants complete closing checklists and buss tables promptly.
Collect comment cards and resolve customer complaints.
Inform the Director of Dining Services regarding equipment, supply needs, maintenance, safety hazards, or observations.
Attend meetings and training to stay current on information and skills.
Follow policies and procedures: Presbyterian Villages policies, safety policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and any other duties as assigned.
Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience One to two years of related experience.
Computer Skills Must be able to operate a computer.
Other Requirements
Supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations.
Ability to interpret menus and recipes.
Must be available evenings and weekends.
