Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates; communicate effectively with the team and be flexible to business needs. Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and seasonality; adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; manage inventory and maintain equipment. Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Drive performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; guide peers and attend to customer needs. Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to change and learn from feedback. Responsibilities
Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser‑quality food products. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience with fresh food. Member satisfaction as a top priority. Solution seeker and innovator who tackles obstacles head‑on. Comfortable with change and quickly adapt to different work scenarios. Food service experience. Food handler certification (food safety) is a plus. Benefits
