The Courtyard by Marriott and SpringHill Suites in Ewing, NJ are looking for a Dual Housekeeping Manager.
This full‑time opportunity will be based at the Courtyard by Marriott and the SpringHill Suites in Ewing, NJ. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.
Areas Of Responsibility
Establishes and enforces procedures for the personal safety of guests and staff, and for the security of hotel property.
Assures standard of cleanliness in rooms and lobby areas to pass QA inspections.
Assures Marriott Reward/Hilton Honors rooms are set‑up to established standards.
Selects and hires room attendants, inspectors, housepersons, and laundry staff; assigns rooms and schedules staff according to occupancy forecasts.
Prepares and assigns cleaning projects monthly.
Reports maintenance deficiencies throughout the property.
Conducts regular trainings and orientations.
Conducts co‑worker performance appraisals.
Conducts a monthly inventory for linens and supplies.
Functions as Manager‑On‑Duty (MOD) as part of the management team and participates in all management programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
College degree in hotel/restaurant management preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hotel operations experience.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to operate computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Front Office PMS, ServicePro, and others.
