Job Summary The firm is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and high‑performing Manager, Pitches and Proposals Center of Excellence to help drive the development of standout RFP responses and pitch materials, with a primary focus on the Corporate Practice Area. As a key contributor within a growing, high‑impact team, you will play an essential role in shaping the firm’s voice and strengthening our competitive positioning.
In this role, you will guide the strategy and execution of assigned proposals, working closely with lawyers, Client Growth colleagues, and cross‑functional partners to craft persuasive, client‑focused materials that reflect the firm’s strengths and differentiators. You will manage the full proposal process for your projects including direction‑setting, timeline oversight, content development, and quality control ensuring every submission is polished, aligned with firm goals, and optimized to win.

Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the team Director on key projects and initiatives that advance the firm’s strategic goals, while partnering with the team Senior Manager on day‑to‑day direction and priorities.
Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s practice areas and industry offerings to accurately and effectively position capabilities in proposals.
Lead the strategy and workflow for assigned RFP responses and pitch materials, ensuring a clear, client‑focused approach.
Apply proposal management best practices to elevate the quality, consistency, and competitiveness of all submissions.
Provide strategic input and recommendations that strengthen proposal narratives and improve win potential.
Partner with lawyers and stakeholders to shape response strategy and coordinate cross‑practice and regional contributions.
Draft and refine tailored content that addresses client needs, differentiates the firm, and aligns with submission criteria.
Oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure all requirements are met and materials are submitted accurately and on schedule.
Maintain full compliance with RFP instructions, internal standards, and the Pitches and Proposals COE Policy.
Capture and maintain proposal materials, data, and outcomes in the firm’s systems to support knowledge‑sharing and continual improvement.
Collaborate with Matter Planning and client teams to develop pricing approaches and support relationship‑building efforts.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or Business preferred.
Proven experience drafting RFP responses and developing compelling pitch materials for the Corporate practice area within a global law firm environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Word, PowerPoint, and Excel capabilities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strong organizational abilities, with a demonstrated track record of managing multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
Ability to articulate a clear value proposition and differentiate practice strengths, particularly in competitive proposal scenarios.
Advanced analytical and critical‑thinking skills to support strategic decision‑making and problem‑solving.
Experience mentoring or guiding team members within a business development or proposal environment.
Familiarity with Saturno WebBack application a plus.
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, including the ability to produce polished, visually engaging client‑facing materials.
Compensation Salary: $97,000 – $182,000. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
