Pay Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $67,200.00/yr. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
Responsibilities
Builds student base by creating safe environments for all golfers, provides high quality instruction, and builds long-lasting relationships with each student. Talks with clients to identify strengths and weaknesses of swing/game, gets to root of students’ lesson goals, and acts as Trusted Advisor for each student.
Develops self to become a better teacher and ensures teaching concepts are understood by students, adjusting teaching style to best facilitate learning. Looks for new and creative ways to grow the student base and strives to meet and exceed financial and metric goals for the role.
Engages in community outreach by partnering with local organizations to teach, support, and promote the Golf Galaxy experience. Leads initiatives to promote services (Fitting, Lessons, Club Tech) and build lasting relationships with golfers at all stages of their journey.
Collaborates with Certified Fitters and teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience, including during fittings and lesson planning discussions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years experience
Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing
3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training
PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1,2,3 or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through our PGA/LPGA Associate Program
Trackman Level 1 & 2
Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment
Passion for golf equipment & related technology
Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others
Stays current with industry trends
