Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed. Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use data to support guest needs. Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs. Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales. Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity. Execute and maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests. Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience. Support price change processes and signing execution, including clearance merchandising. Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests. Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from the fitting room and guest service back out to the salesfloor throughout the day. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards. Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws. Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks and engaging with them to solve needs. Thank guests and acknowledge their visit to Target. Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed. Effective communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly. Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within timeframes. Physical and Scheduling Requirements
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb ladders; scan, move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds with assistance.
