Position Summary
We are seeking a
Junior Mechanical/Utility Engineer
with 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical systems, utilities, and facility engineering. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented and brings solid knowledge of HVAC, piping, boilers, and industrial utilities in a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical and utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, steam, etc.)
Support project management for upgrades, installations, and maintenance of facility systems
Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of utility systems and recommend improvements
Ensure systems meet operational, environmental, and safety requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and equipment layouts
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, maintenance, and contractors
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in mechanical or utility engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Strong understanding of industrial utility systems and mechanical infrastructure
Familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering software tools
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Familiarity with energy‑efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure

Compensation:
$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
