Responding to calls, enforcing laws, investigating crimes Maintaining public order, protecting lives and property Engaging with the community, problem-solving, and enforcement Gathering evidence, making arrests, and testifying in court Communicating effectively and completing reports Minimum Qualifications:
At least 21 years old, with Colorado P.O.S.T. certification or provisional eligibility One (1) year of solo patrol experience for lateral candidates Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean record Full-time employment as a sworn officer in a law enforcement agency Preferred education includes a degree in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include law enforcement principles, communication, report writing, physical fitness, and the ability to pass background checks. Working Conditions:
Work is primarily outdoors, involving physical demands, operating vehicles, and exposure to various environmental conditions. Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
