$25.75/hour

About The Role Line Cooks (Wok) are responsible for preparing, cooking and plating all the wok line items.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks

Learn all Wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures

Check the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking

Cook the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes

Plate the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines

Prepare and cut garnishes for Wok line items

Label all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures

Attend monthly staff meetings and Wok meetings

Supporting Functions

Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized

Organize items within the walk‑in coolers and freezers

Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)

Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen

Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”).
