A team of consultants who meet guests where they are and deliver strong operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising that inspires guests and builds the basket. A Style Consultant is passionate about operations and guest experience, enabling self-discovery through in-store presentations. Style Consultants are welcoming and helpful on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is stocked, priced, and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors. What the role offers
The Style Consultant gains skills in guest service, retail fundamentals, trend awareness, and merchandising. A typical day includes responsibilities listed below. What We Are Looking For You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and teammates. You thrive in a fast-paced, active role where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key. You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times). Required Skills and Abilities Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology Effective communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Ability to resolve guest questions quickly Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks Basic Capabilities We Expect Accurately handle cash register operations as needed Climb ladders safely Scan, handle, and move merchandise, including lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance Work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up or carryout Remain mobile for the duration of a shift Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond at Target benefits page.
