What the role involves
Deliver comprehensive training programs and materials to field merchandisers, including manuals, presentations, and visual aids.
Travel up to 75 miles within an assigned territory.
Conduct on‑site and virtual training sessions to educate field merchandisers on standards, product features, and promotional campaigns.
Train merchandisers on product placement, signage, and display techniques to maximize visual impact and sales.
Provide hands‑on coaching and feedback during store visits to reinforce concepts and address performance gaps.
Collaborate with field managers to identify training needs and prioritize skill development areas.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through metrics, observations, and feedback.
Update training materials based on product changes, guidelines, and industry trends.
Support new product launches and store resets with timely training sessions and resources.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert on merchandising best practices, trends, and competitor activities.
Foster a positive learning environment and culture of continuous improvement.
Cover open territories executing client‑specific work.

Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior retail experience and/or retail training experience preferred.
Proficient with a smartphone, email, text messaging, and e‑learning platforms.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Availability for occasional weekend work.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Good vision and ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, and kneel.
Willingness to work in cold environmental conditions.
